AGAINST ADDICTION
The addiction is a chronic and progressive illness that affects a person both physically and psychologically. A person can become addicted to either substances (alkohol, drugs) or to certain activities (gambling, Internet).
Addiction is characterised by the following: (a) the person continues the addictive behaviour despite the consequences (b) the intensity of the behavior increases over time (c) when the behaviour is stopped, the person experiences unpleasant feelings and emotions.
Because of the various causes and triggers, there are many different types of addictions. List of the behavioral addictions includes: food (eating), using computers/the internet, sex, pornography, playing video games, working, shopping.
The common addictions to substances are: alcohol, tobacco, opioids, prescription drugs, cocaine, cannabis, amphetamines, hallucinogens, inhalants. The list of DSM-5 includes gambling, kleptomania, pyromania, intermittent explosive disorder.

(4) Institute develops projects using latest technology for mental healthcare.
(5) Network including istitutions providing services to combine research and practice.
(6) Building capacities for evaluation, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of people with mental disorders.
